JOB TITLE:
Work Study Social Media Aide
This position is housed within the Global Engagement Office a team committed to international engagement communication and community building across campus and around the world.
Job location: Cheney International Center. This is on an campus position and requires the work to be completed on campus.
Pay rate or range: $12 per hour
JOB PURPOSE:
The Social Media Work-Study supports the offices digital presence by helping create schedule and monitor social media content across multiple platformsprimarily Instagram and Facebook as well as some international accounts. The position assists in engaging online with the UW community potential students donors and international partners and promoting programs and services. JFNTMP

Must be eligible have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.

This position provides valuable experience in digital marketing communications and public relations. Work-studies will build content creation skills learn how to manage professional social media accounts and gain insight into brand strategyall of which are transferable to careers in marketing media and communications.
