Your work environment at EXP

EXP is seeking a Utility Construction Coordinator for utility coordination for assigned projects. This role will oversee field productivity workmanship project schedules and will ensure the safety and regulatory compliance with lead agency.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Oversee and facilitate the work activities of Underground and Aerial utilities ensuring an efficient and proper handoff between Engineer of Record or Administrator on assigned projects. Report deficiencies in workmanship or productivity goals for both internal staff and subcontractors to appropriate management
  • Primary POC for oversight and management of all sub-contracted projects
  • Provide daily and relevant updates to PM team management and customer contacts
  • Maintain a frequent physical presence checking on quality of work answering questions and advising on any issues that may arise
  • Respond to in-field requests comments or complaints
  • Other duties as assigned.

What your experience looks like

  • Multiple positions - associates degree or equivalent or Civil Engineering degree with at least 2 years of coordination experience
  • Must have experience reading plans
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable
  • Availability to work as in-house support for clients
  • Ability to work independently manage multiple tasks set priorities manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to utilize a PC with various software applications (Microsoft Suite Outlook Excel) relating to project management
