About You
The ideal candidate would be someone with an ambitious interest in all aspects of equine medicine and willing to put in the effort required to establish a clientele in the competitive equine market. We are seeking a professional dedicated candidate who is dependable possesses exceptional time management and communication skills works well with others and maintains a positive attitude.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired before their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Elgin Veterinary Hospital a renowned equine referral hospital in Elgin Texas is seeking anAssociate Equine Veterinarianwith a strong interest ininternal medicineand sports medicine cases.We are proud members of AAEP and we provide high-quality dedicated care for every patient. Our hospital has a collaborative team and is committed to a positive work environment.
Wetake pride in providing compassionate care and upholding the highest standards of medical excellence. Our hospital handles a high volume of very diverse cases. We take great pride in offering the highest quality medicine and a wide range of services.
Our well-equipped facility features three digital x-ray machines three ultrasound machines a Shockwave machine a standing MRI PRP IRAP Prostride stem cell therapy a video endoscope on-site laboratory services and two fully equipped surgical suites.
We are openMonday Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
We serve: Elgin Bastrop Manor and surrounding areas.
