The Processing Guidance and Controls (PG&C) Center within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Directorate consists of Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Signal Processing (SP) and Modeling Simulation and Analysis disciplines for Effectors.
Raytheons Signal Processing team is seeking a Manager Systems Engineering Modeling Simulation and Analysis Section Lead.
As the Manager Systems Engineering - Modeling Simulation and Analysis Section Lead you will provide direct supervision to a team of engineers guiding them towards achieving departmental goals. You will also assist the Department in solving complex Simulation challenges to support drive and enable key business captures current programs special projects and wide-ranging business opportunities. This is an onsite position located in Tucson AZ.
What You Will Do
You will act as a key manager and mentor for 10 - 15 Systems Engineers.
You will influence foster teamwork and enable interdependent execution.
You will participate in talent acquisition goal setting performance development and appraisal of assigned employees.
You will ensure each direct report has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and career advancement.
You will support the team as an individual contributor enhancing your technical skills.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience working on a Missile Program
Modeling simulation & Analysis experience
Modeling and Simulation experience on missile system applications supporting customer programs
Technical and/or functional Engineering leadership experience
Qualifications We Prefer
An advanced degree in Engineering Science Mathematics or related discipline.
Professional experience with 6DOF simulations and Montecarlo analysis
Experience defining plans for project execution and working with individuals across work areas and geographic locations to assist with execution of work tasks
Experience programming in C C Fortran or other high order language
Experience using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
Experience developing or simulating physical systems
Experience understanding tactical software interactions with simulation interfaces
Experience with a variety of simulation products and tools.
Experience with hardware/software integration.
Experience communicating with different levels of employees departments and customers.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
