We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our client at their prestigious manufacturing facility based in Telford Shropshire. For this role we are seeking someone who has previous experience in a similar technical role. This role is offered on a full-time permanent role benefits and will include some travel within EMEA as necessary.

The role
This is an exciting multi-disciplinary opportunity taking responsibility for providing the technical support of industrial inkjet printhead products to EMEA customers in person and remotely. You will take ownership of customer issues and see through problems to resolution researching diagnosing troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues. Following standard procedures for the correct escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal/external teams.

The person
Innovative and self-motivated you will be pro-active in your approach. With a strong engineering background and a good understanding if industrial/ scientific systems and ideally some knowledge of industrial inkjet printing systems.
An electrical/ electronic bias would be preferable but not compulsory. However a degree in an engineering discipline and demonstrable experience within a similar role are required. Experience of managing projects is also required.
The role offers a salary between 48500 and 555000 and includes generous benefits which include profit related bonus executive medical and private health cover.
