Position Purpose and Summary
The Financial Analyst will track the organizations financial performance against the approved plan to create forecasts and help management make strategic and tactical decisions by providing periodic reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Processes and maintains payroll records.
Prepares all relevant labor-related analyses.
Prepares monthly cash/bank reconciliations.
Assists in preparing monthly variance analyses.
Assists in preparing monthly KPI analyses.
Assists in preparing the annual budget.
Prepares quarterly grant-related draw-down analyses.
Prepares quarterly inter-company grant-related transfer analyses.
Prepares all grant-related financial reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field required.
Three years of professional experience in corporate finance accounting or financial planning.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
An understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
An understanding of project management.
Must be able to travel as necessary for major events where staff participation is required.
Relocation assistance is not available. Must reside within a 50-mile radius of National Headquarters within six (6) months of start date.
