Job Description
Lighthouse Lab Services is representing a growing fire protection testing laboratory in its search for a Laboratory Technician. This independent lab specializes in testing firefighting foams antifreeze solutions dry chemical agents and fire sprinklers helping building owners and their representatives meet inspection testing and maintenance (ITM) requirements.

Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift MondayFriday
Pay: $22/hour
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine analytical tests following established procedures and protocols.
Rotate between various lab functions including testing in foam and sprinkler laboratories.
Support internal research projects both independently and collaboratively.
Assist with laboratory administrative tasks as needed.
Follow and support the labs quality management system in alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
Contribute to a safe organized and efficient lab environment.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a science-related field or previous experience as a laboratory technician.
Understanding of basic chemical principles and laboratory safety practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with numerical analysis and repetitive testing tasks.
Ability to work on your feet for up to 7 hours per day.
Team-oriented with a willingness to support multiple workstations.
Preferred Experience
At least 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 is a plus.
