Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the BESS business with utilities industrial clients and renewable energy developers.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to solution design proposal preparation and deal closure.
- Work together with Technical Solution team to complete OTA and TAS process of all BYD Energy Storage productsand to make BYD Energy Storage new product is ready to be used by all the other customers.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to solution design proposal preparation and deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the renewable energy sector including utility companies grid operators and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure BESS installations meet local and international grid compliance with regulatory bodies and transmission operators for seamless BESS integration into the power informed on changes in grid codes transmission line requirements and energy storage regulations.
Skills Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Electrical Engineering Energy Systems Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in renewable energy technical support sales or project management with a focus on BESS PCS or EMS.
- Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid compliance requirements (IEC IEEE standards).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and grid codes for integrating energy storage systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project site visits.
