Title: Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C)

Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM 05:30 PM) Monday Friday

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support their outpatient family medicine clinic in Bothell WA. This is a local-only full-time opportunity with the potential to convert to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient clinical support skills excellent communication and a current WA MA-C license. First-time travelers with at least 6 months of experience will be considered.
Responsibilities:Room patients and collect vital signs (BP temp pulse respiration hearing vision)
Record patient histories medications and allergies in the EHR
Assist providers with procedures such as nebulizer treatments injections and immunizations
Perform specimen collection including venipuncture UA/clean catch throat swabs and glucose testing
Prepare and label specimens accurately for lab testing
Administer TB tests and remove sutures under supervision
Manage patient follow-up and complete pharmacy refill calls
Triage patient phone calls and assist with care coordination
Maintain clean stocked exam rooms and work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff
Experience:
Minimum 6 months of recent outpatient experience
Must be able to perform specimen collection manual vitals and injections
Certifications Required:
WA State MA-C License REQUIRED at submission
BLS (AHA) Required
Charting System: Any Required
First-Time Travelers: Accepted (locals only)
Weekend Requirement: None Monday through Friday only
On-Call: Not required
Floating: Not required
Block Scheduling: Not available
Pending License: Not accepted
RTO Restrictions: Must be submitted with application subject to manager approval
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period
Local-Only Role: Must reside within 50 miles and have reliable transportation
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Experience:
6 months of outpatient experience
Familiarity with rooming patients performing injections and specimen handling
License & Certifications:
WA MA-C License (Active) Required
BLS (AHA) Required

Rooming patients
Vital signs (manual and electronic)
Hearing/vision screening
Recording history medications allergies
Immunizations and injections
Nebulizer treatments
TB test administration
Suture removal
Specimen Collection & Lab Testing:
UA / Clean catch
Venipuncture
Throat swabs
Glucose testing via glucometer
Labeling and preparing specimens
Administrative Duties:
Follow-up calls
Telephone triage
Pharmacy refill coordination
Epic or similar charting systems
