We are hiring a Radiation Therapist to support the Radiation Oncology department at Providence Health under a 13-week travel contract. This role involves direct patient care in the delivery of radiation treatments using external beam therapy and advanced treatment planning systems. First-time travelers are welcome. The facility uses Epic for charting and prefers candidates with experience in Eclipse or Pinnacle systems. Local applicants are accepted and call-offs may occur once per two-week pay period.
Responsibilities:-
Deliver prescribed external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) in accordance with physician orders.

Prepare patients for treatment including setup immobilization and use of shielding devices.

Perform pretreatment imaging (CBCT/kV/mV) and ensure alignment accuracy.

Support tumor localization and beam modification procedures (e.g. wedges blocks custom shields).

Calculate and verify dose parameters using treatment planning systems.

Chart and document procedures in Epic EHR.

Maintain safety protocols including ALARA isolation precautions and emergency response readiness.

May be required to float between like units as needed.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent clinical radiation therapy experience

Block Scheduling: Considered at managers discretion

Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per two-week pay period

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program

Experience:

At least one year of clinical experience in radiation therapy

Strong familiarity with patient immobilization and image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT)

Washington State Radiation Therapy License Required
