We are currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Oncology department at Providence St. Joseph Health Care (PSJHC). This is a 13-week travel contract opportunity with no call requirement. The ideal candidate is experienced in delivering external beam radiation therapy using state-of-the-art planning systems and technologies. Local candidates are welcome.
Responsibilities:-
Administer external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) to oncology patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.

Operate linear accelerators and ensure accurate patient setup using immobilization devices.

Perform pretreatment procedures including tumor localization mold and shield fabrication and beam modification.

Conduct daily imaging using CBCT/kV/mV systems to confirm patient positioning.

Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to ensure patient safety and effective treatment outcomes.

Document all treatment delivery activities accurately within the charting system.
-
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and isolation protocols.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in radiation therapy

Certifications:

ARRT (T)
-
BLS (American Heart Association)
-
Active Washington State Radiation Therapist License (no pending license accepted)

Charting System: Required any system experience is acceptable

Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program

Experience:
-
At least one year of recent clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist

Proficiency in external beam therapy and IMRT setup preferred

ARRT (T) National Certification

Washington State Radiation Therapy License Must be active
