Job Overview
We are looking for a strong automation tester with deep experience in Python test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will be responsible for leading a small automation team developing and maintaining automation frameworks resolving technical blockers and ensuring quality across applications.
Primary Responsibilities-
Lead a small QA automation team and drive application quality

Take ownership of QA for an application understand end-to-end domain flows

Design develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Selenium/Appium
-
Build and enhance test frameworks (Pytest unittest or similar)
-
Analyze automation failures and ensure smooth CI/CD test execution (Jenkins)
-
Drive continuous improvement in automation tools and framework components
-
Collaborate with developers QA team members and stakeholders across geographies
-
Be available for nightly calls with US-based teams when required

Strong hands-on experience with Python programming and OOP concepts

Proven expertise in Selenium/Appium for UI automation

Experience with Pytest or other standard testing frameworks

Solid understanding of QA methodologies and automation practices

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Familiarity with Git test management and bug tracking tools

Strong communication skills and leadership abilities

Knowledge of DevOps practices

Experience in mentoring team members and engaging with international teams

Bachelor of Engineering / Masters in Computer Science or related discipline

Equivalent qualifications with relevant experience are also acceptable
