Job Description
Location: Birmingham AL
Contract- 6 Months
Client- Alabama Power
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Facilities Custodian Professional to maintain a clean orderly and safe environment across our buildings and grounds. This role involves a variety of janitorial minor maintenance and groundskeeping duties contributing to the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:-
Maintain floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing and waxing as needed

Empty and clean trash receptacles; collect and sort recyclables

Clean sanitize and restock supplies in restrooms
-
Service and maintain custodial equipment
-
Perform minor repairs to buildings furniture and equipment
-
Identify and report safety sanitary and fire hazards
-
Lock/unlock doors windows and gates as needed
-
Keep grounds areas clean and orderly
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Previous custodial or groundskeeping experience preferred

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively
-
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
-
Physically able to bend squat kneel twist and climb ladders
-
Familiar with custodial tools techniques materials and equipment care
-
Comfortable working from heights or elevated surfaces when needed
