On-Call: Required; rotating weekdays weekends and holidays
Assignment Type: Travel
Seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a travel assignment in a cardiovascular operating room. The RN will be responsible for circulating and/or scrubbing during high-acuity cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Candidate must be prepared for emergent cases and fast-paced workflow.
Responsibilities:-
Circulate or scrub for procedures including CABG valve replacements aortic repairs and thoracic surgeries

Ensure OR readiness and sterile field integrity

Coordinate intraoperative workflow with surgeons anesthesia and perfusion

Monitor and document patient condition throughout the surgical process

Participate in scheduled on-call rotation for emergency procedures

Active RN license (state-specific or compact)

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience required

BLS and ACLS (AHA) required

CNOR certification preferred

Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic preferred)

Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical protocols and instrumentation
