Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Windchill Expert with deep expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to support and optimize the use of Windchill in aerospace engineering programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in customizing configuring and managing Windchill for aerospace design manufacturing and compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and administer PTC Windchill PLM system for aerospace programs including change management document control and product data management.
- Develop and maintain Windchill workflows for Engineering Change Notices (ECN) Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Configuration Management.
- Integrate Windchill with CAD tools like Creo CATIA V5/3DX or NX.
- Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to ensure PLM solutions align with aerospace standards and project requirements.
- Customize Windchill modules (PDMLink MPMLink ProjectLink) using Java JSP Info*Engine or REST APIs.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 ITAR and other aerospace-specific regulations and export controls.
- Provide user training support and troubleshooting for Windchill-related issues.
- Lead data migration upgrade and backup processes.
- Prepare technical documentation for Windchill configurations and usage protocols.
