Description

Objective

The Recreation Lead position will assist leadership with the daily operations of Recreation Outlets to include the Water Park Tennis Center and Retail & Coffee Shop in addition to the planning and execution of activity programs holiday celebrations and group events.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership with daily operations in designated recreation areas.
  • Maintain effective stock levels and ensure stock presentations are appropriate for all seasons.
  • Organize workflow and ensure staff understands duties and delegated tasks.
  • Ensure stockrooms are kept organized so that items are easy to locate at all times.
  • Assist with monthly inventory.
  • Ensure daily opening and closing duties are performed.
  • Assist leadership with training as needed.
  • Assist with any guest and member complaints/concerns and keep open communication with all departments.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is met with the highest standard and regard for the overall guest experience.
  • Be knowledgeable about the Resorts products services and program information to members and guests to include local events to enhance engagement.
  • Maintain a clean safe and well-presented work environment at all times.
  • Respond promptly to safety and security concerns ensuring all incidents are reported accurately and thoroughly.
  • Contribute to departmental growth through creative input and participation in special projects.
  • Adhere to Reunion Resort & Golf Clubs policies and ensure compliance by all staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Attend meetings/trainings by leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Position requires full availability and be able to work early mornings and/or as a closer.
  • Required flexibility to work AM/MID shifts weekends and holidays.
  • Able to cross-train in all roles in recreation.
  • Must be willing to work any recreation area including Water Park Tennis Center and Retail Shop.
  • Must have attention to detail strong ability to multi-task and time-management skills.
  • Must be able to sit stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching pushing pulling lifting carrying etc.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certification is First Aid/CPR/AED preferred or willing to be trained.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service position is required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to lift push carry and pull up to 50lbs.
  • Exposure to various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine heat and rain.
