Job Description
We re looking for a Senior Finance Manager with Adult Social Care finance experience for our local authority client based in Milton Keynes on an initial 12-month contract paying up to 600 per day Inside IR35.
This role allows hybrid working with 1 day per week in the Milton Keynes office.
You must have recent experience supporting Adult Social Care financial planning forecasting and reporting within a UK local government setting.
The successful Finance Business Partner will possess proven skills working with the following:
- Medium Term Financial Planning (MTFP) for Adults Services
- Budget setting reporting and savings delivery
- Oversight of complex grants and service-specific funding
- Risk mitigation sensitivity analysis and performance monitoring
- Strong stakeholder engagement including senior officers and elected members
- Financial governance business case development and transformation finance
- CCAB-qualified (e.g. CIPFA ACCA ICAEW) with post-qualification experience
- Team leadership and high-level reporting to Cabinet/Senior Management
