As theEmployee Engagement and Events Coordinator youll deliver a wide variety of vital support to the Human Resources department including internal events and activities. Youll provide the human touch and positive attitude that brings our employment processes to life for all the leaders employees new hires and candidates you come into contact with.
What you get to do:
- Plan and coordinate all employee events/activities including employee ride nights Bingo raffle drawings gate giveaways contests etc.
- Lead the Employee Engagement Committee and partner with park leaders to plan and execute all employee events/activities
- Oversee Park rewards/recognition program and work with park leaders on successful implementation
- Promote and communicate employee events/activities through the creation of flyers electronic posts email and internal communication channels
- Develop surveys to gauge employee feedback and suggestions for future activities and areas of improvement
- Manage the employee events/activities budget and be responsible for purchasing supplies giveaways prizes etc. and arranging food and beverage/snack service for each event
- Collaborate with all departments and other park leaders to generate ideas and support for employee events/activities
- Provide stellar service to our guests - whether on the phone or in person you will assist applicants employees and leaders
- Oversee and implement our electronic document management efforts maintaining HR records
- Assist with internal and external HR related inquires and/or requests
- Perform general office duties including front desk coverage
- Support other assigned tasks and perform other duties as assigned
- Contribute to and coordinate our parks culture and fun events for employees
What it takes to succeed:
- Proven personal organization and coordination skills
- Demonstrated ability to get along with and interact with all organizational levels
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent communication interpersonal organizational and phone skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Integrity in handling confidential information
- Ability to physically perform a variety of duties including but not limited to: lifting and carrying items up to 25lbs indoor and outdoor work walking park grounds and stationary standing work
- Flexible scheduling availability to ensure coverage of event planning and execution
- Experience working in the theme park or hospitality industry preferred
- Experience working in a fast paced high-growth company highly desirable
