Job Purpose
- They will be responsible for providing project management change management performance management and management information support. This includes ensuring activities are delivered to agreed standards maintaining project documentation and supporting statutory requirements for national reporting. Additionally the role involves supporting the development and delivery of specified system software and reporting improvements to enhance the Councils performance culture.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Provide routine and ad hoc reports for managers and elected members ensuring the Council operates based on the best available information.
- Assist in the development of management information systems processes data sets and service plans including the annual review and update of performance measures.
- Implement frameworks for reporting routine trend and equity information for designated services working in partnership with operational managers.
- Provide an information service to staff managers and outside organizations requiring statistical data or management information.
- Collate data to prepare statutory information and returns for external regulators following complex templates and formats.
Essential Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing robust performance management systems.
- Considerable experience in promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Considerable experience in producing management information and performance reports.
Essential Qualification Required
- A level 4 qualification or equivalent compensatory experience.
