About The Role

This role will report to the Director of Packaging Development APAC and be responsible for the delivery of packaging solutions for the Consumer Flavour Solutions Australian business and manage all aspects of packaging development projects from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate will have experience in packaging development ideally within the FMGC industry.

Key responsibilities will include;

• To support and manage the packaging design and development components of all new projects.
• Provide technical support to business plans and works closely with marketing sales supply chain procurement vendors on process innovation and packaging material cost improvements to ensure purpose led performance sustainability targets are on track.
• Support the APCO action plan report writing and conduct PREP tool analysis.
• Conduct packaging line trials.
• Maintain all packaging and testing specifications as well as conducting relevant packaging testing.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic passionate Packaging Technologist to work across a wide variety of packing formats and brand categories. Our ideal candidate will have experience within the following areas;

• Packaging experience in a FMGC environment
• Project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build and manage key stakeholder relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects
