The Company
Rescue is a full-service marketing agency with a mission to make healthy behaviors easier and more appealing. Since our founding in 2001 Rescue has been exclusively focused on researching developing and implementing positive social change campaigns in public health. We provide research strategy creative production web traditional media social media policy change youth engagement and experiential marketing services to government non-profit and healthcare clients in over 35 states and provinces as well as to federal government agencies.

Rescues health behavior change marketing campaigns focus on topics such as tobacco obesity substance and alcohol prevention; the promotion of exercise eating healthy foods early childhood development and after school programs; and other topics that promote healthy living. Rescues behavior change campaigns focus on diverse populations within teen (13 - 17) young adult (18 - 26) and adult (18) populations in both rural and urban areas resulting in a wide variety of campaign styles and strategies.

The Job
We are looking for a temporary Campaign Manager I who will be responsible for the implementation of two statewide policy campaign initiatives (focused on nutrition physical activity and tobacco control) by educating and building support for the campaigns throughout the state of Oklahoma and training and mobilizing the youth volunteers.

This is a full-time temporary opportunity from October 2025 April 2026.

Day-To-Day Activities:
  • Cultivate on the ground education and campaign support:
  • Travel to events meetings and presentations throughout the state of Oklahoma to educate and build support for the campaign initiatives.
  • Prepare materials for presentations
  • Communicate and organize opportunities with community leads organizations and key decision makers.
Support Youth Engagement Program:
  • Developing and conducting youth communication such as e-mails text messages and presentations;
  • Support the team youth lead events trainings and presentations; support the team in implementing large days of action such as Day at the Capitol CounterAct Tobacco Day ect.
Reporting and administrative tasks:
  • Utilize the volunteer engagement system to track opportunities and document youth participation.
  • Support with posting youth written blogs to respective websites;
  • Create update and utilize internal trackers and spreadsheets;
  • Provide narratives pictures and reports on completed campaign activities
Policy Strategy:
  • Support campaign managers in following local and state policies;
  • Help to generate policy reports for local leaders in the community;
  • Assist in following state and local tobacco and nutrition policy initiatives;
Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years relevant experience OR Bachelors Degree
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (one-on-one and in a group format) candidates must be able to work successfully within a team and cross-functional teams and projects;
  • Flexibility and willingness to shift and pivot in response to the current climate and youth and program needs;
  • High-level competency with Microsoft Office G Suite or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with youth.
Location: Remote in Oklahoma. Rescue is a remote work friendly employer. With limited exceptions remote work is allowed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact if you have any questions.
Status: Full-time/Temporary from October 2025 to April 2026.
Pay Range: $1693.00 every two weeks (per pay period) (equivalent to an annual salary of $44018 if the role were year-round).

The Fine Print
Environment:
All business-related environments are tobacco-free.

Physical Requirements:
Able to remain in a sitting position for prolonged periods of time for the performance of duties. Able to read from a computer laptop monitor or tablet for a full workday and for long periods of time (typically 8 hours) including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources. If working from a Rescue office location able to stoop bend reach climb stairs and move freely throughout the building. Able to travel nationwide as needed to meet with clients coworkers or attend meetings and seminars. Must be able to move boxed work documents up to 40 pounds in and out of office for travel by car and by air.
