We are searching for a Business Intelligence (BI) analyst to collaborate with county departments and improve government services through data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior BI Architect. They will identify business needs design solutions and build reports and visualizations that generate new insights. SCHEDULE:
This position operates on our four-day work week (Monday-Thursday).
This limited position is hybrid with remote work and in-office work as determined by business need.
COMPENSATION:
Hiring Range: $27.03- $32.05 USD Hourly
Compensation will be determined based on education experience and skills.
BENEFITS:
The employment status is Limited (Fixed-Term) and is eligible for personal medical coverage following the month after hire.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Support efforts implementing a data culture within the organization
Work with users and departments to understand their goals and gather requirements
Collaborate with senior BI staff to recommend solutions
Utilize best practices to design develop and support Power BI visualizations
Publish reports and dashboards using Power BI for sharing and collaboration
Work on different metrics and calculations using Power BI functions
Conduct analyses that produce relevant insights about strategic and operations initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field
*Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Preferred knowledge skills and abilities:
Bachelors degree in math statistics computer science or equivalent technical field
Proficient in Power BI Excel SQL and ETL concepts
At least 1 year of professional-level work experience in an analytics-focused role such as report development data science business intelligence or comparable data engineering
Certifications in business intelligence (or related) concepts and tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative problem-solving abilities
