Are you a Technical Editor ready to be at the forefront of intelligence innovation HII-Mission Technologies is seeking passionate individuals to join our team in partnership with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) under the Object Based Intelligence and Quality Assurance (OBIQUA) task order. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI) analysis and production driving new capabilities and insights that will revolutionize intelligence analysis.
Youll be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) Machine Learning (ML) and advanced analytics capabilities enhancing the intelligence prowess of the U.S. and its allies. Your work will directly support the unification and operationalization of AI across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise facilitating Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO) by enabling rapid decision-making and seamless information sharing ultimately providing crucial warfighting advantages.

What you will do
Review intelligence products for proper grammar punctuation and syntax as well As for logic clarity and consistency.
Ensure that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
Amend draft tables tone boxes and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
Proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
Work with authors to revise products for narrative organization and negotiates further revisions as needed.
Additional duties as assigned
What we are looking for
3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with a current Poly
Proven ability to meticulously review intelligence products for grammar punctuation syntax logic clarity and consistency. You should be adept at ensuring content supports and aligns with accompanying text in tables tone boxes and graphics.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience with agency publication standards prescribed style guides and the specialized vocabulary of intelligence subject matter fields. This includes ensuring proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
Demonstrated skill in working effectively with authors to revise products for narrative organization structure and overall coherence. Youll need strong negotiation skills to achieve necessary revisions while maintaining positive working relationships.
Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of language formatting and compliance ensuring high-quality polished intelligence products.

Recent applicable experience within the last 2 years
Prior experience specifically editing or reviewing intelligence products within the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense.
certifications in technical editing professional writing or intelligence analysis.
Basic understanding of graphic design principles or publication layout to effectively amend and ensure consistency between text and visual elements.
