Department Highlights:
As part of our Perioperative Services youll work in one of the nations largest and most dynamic surgical departments dedicated to advancing surgical care featuring more than 60 state-of-the-art operating suites where more than 41000 surgeries are completed annually. Our team excels in clinical excellence teamwork and innovation managing complex cases with cutting-edge technology including iMRI ORs and a robotics surgery program that is among the largest of its kind in the Southeast with the highest patient volume in the country. Youll collaborate with world-class surgeons and an interdisciplinary care team including pre-and-post-procedural and OR staff who are all committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and the highest quality care. Job Description:
To assist the operating room staff including the anesthesia providers with certain technical aspects of patient care. To ensure availability of supplies and equipment. To clean and disinfect surgical suites and/or reusable equipment including ancillary anesthesia equipment. To transport patients lift and position patients and to transport lab work and specimens. To successfully complete the designated portions of the orientation/training programs.
High School diploma or GED required. Certified with Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of hire.
