About the Position:
Pelham Memorial School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic middle school girls soccer coach for the fall season. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of soccer fundamentals and a passion for working with young athletes. The coach will be responsible for developing players skills fostering sportsmanship and creating a positive and supportive team environment.
- Teach soccer fundamentals including passing dribling shooting defending and team strategies.
Develop and implement age-appropriate practice plans and conditioning drills.
Motivate and mentor student-athletes to grow in skill confidence and teamwork.
Organize and supervise practices games and team activities.
Prioritize the safety health and well-being of all players.
Communicate clearly with athletes families and school staff regarding schedules expectations and progress.
Qualifications:
CPR certification is mandatory.
Previous experience coaching soccer or playing at a competitive level is preferred but not required.
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm for soccer and a commitment to youth development
Familiarity with soccer rules strategies and game regulations.
Availability:
- Season starts August 25 runs until Mid-October with the opportunity of playoffs.
- Daily practices after school 2:30 PM. Games Home and Away only on weekdays.
