*Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
*Licensed with the State of Minnesota as a Respiratory Therapist.
*Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Successful completion of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
*Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialty (NPS) certification.
*Basic Life Support (BLS) certified and current.
*PALS NRP ACLS and STABLE certified or within 6 months in the role.
*C-NPT PHTLS CPEN TNCC or other approved advanced certification within 2 years in the role.
*3 years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Emergency Department experience Neonatal or Pediatric is preferred.
*3 years of Transport or Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experience is required

Position Summary:
This is a hybrid position with a split FTE. 0.45 FTE will be allocated to non-clinical responsibilities while the remaining portion will be dedicated to clinical duties as a Transport Respiratory Therapist.
In addition to clinical responsibilities the Neonatal Transport Respiratory Therapy Lead will support the Manager of Transport Services with the following tasks:
Operate and drive the Childrens Minnesota ambulances in coordination with the manager of transport services.
Conduct Department of Transportation safety assessments of ambulances.
Represent Childrens Minnesota and the transport program professionally at outreach events by operating ambulances and engaging with the public.
Perform cleaning and maintenance of ambulances as needed including transporting them for repairs or scheduled maintenance.
Support the on-boarding and training of new Childrens Minnesota ambulance drivers.
Ensure ambulances are fully stocked with all required supplies that supplies are within expiration dates and that all equipment is properly calibrated for use.
Maintain Ambulance Inspection Manual for Department of EMS annual inspections.
Manage gas cylinder orders for ambulance garage.
Manage and process billing for patient transport services ensuring accuracy compliance with payer requirements and timely submission.
Manage supplies needed for the ambulance garage including products needed to support EMS staff breakrooms.
Manage Purchasing Card Reconciliation monthly.
