Job Description
We are searching for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at our TCP Dripping Springs Clinic - someone who works well in a fast-paced primary care this position youll gather information assess and provide direct care to patients. Youll also work collaboratively with other members of the health-care team to render age appropriate care.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Qualifications
- High school graduate GED or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing
- Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
- Active BLS certification required from American Heart Association Health Care Providers
Responsibilities
- Provides age appropriate care for one or more of the following age groups routinely: Neonate Infant Toddler Preschool Age School Age Adolescent and Adult
- Demonstrates Creating SMILES philosophies to patients families and co-workers
- Assists with the collection of patient/family data
- Provides general patient care
- Administers medication and immunization
- Assists with education of patient/family
- Coordinates referrals
- Triages patients
- Collects specimens and performs laboratory tests
- Fundamental knowledge of pediatric assessment and treatment
- Knowledge of related OSHA and CLIA/COLA guidelines and requirements general office tasks confidentiality and filing systems
- Ability to use thermometer scales sphygmomanometer/stethoscope butterfly needles hearing/vision screening equipment pulse oximetry
