Graduate Risk & Controls Analyst

Location: London Full-time 18-month programme Start date: September 2025

Department: IT Enterprise Central

Are you a recent graduate with a curious mind and an eye for detail If you enjoy solving problems analysing data and understanding how things work behind the scenes this could be the perfect start to your career.

Join us at SS&C as a Graduate Risk & Controls Analyst where youll play a key role in helping our technology teams identify and manage risk across the business. This is a great opportunity to learn how IT and operational controls work in a large fast-paced financial services organisation. Youll gain exposure across multiple areas supported by a mentor and a strong graduate network as you build the foundations for a long-term career in technology risk and controls.

What youll be doing:

  • Analyse risk registers and assess control environments across key systems and platforms
  • Help identify gaps or areas for improvement in risk processes
  • Work with teams to document update and improve control measures
  • Support the wider tech function by providing insight into operational risk and compliance
  • Contribute to ongoing development of risk frameworks and reporting

What were looking for:

  • A 2:2 degree or above in a STEM computing or business-related subject
  • Strong written English and good communication skills
  • Analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Comfortable using Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint); SharePoint experience is a plus
