You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis 80100% FTE direct patient care position serves UWMadison students through comprehensive nutrition services including screening assessment counseling and referrals. This position is posted for full-time (40 hours per week; part-time (32 hours per week) is an option.
The successful candidate will:
Provide individualized nutrition counseling to a diverse student population with a focus on adolescents and young adults.
Deliver specialized care for students with eating disorders collaborating closely with medical and mental health providers.
Apply evidence-based practices and maintain ongoing professional competency in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
Support students in making healthy lifestyle choices and maintaining overall wellness.
Participate in campus-wide health initiatives and wellness programming.
Collaborate with UHS medical mental health and prevention staff to provide integrated care.
Potentially provide services onsite at theBakke Recreation and Wellbeing Center.
Teaching and precepting health sciences learners.
Facilitating group classes and outreach activities.
Supporting RecWell with nutrition education programming including delivering workshops at theWolf Teaching Kitchen.
Creating educational materials and guest lecturing on nutrition-related topics.
Participating in student interviews and media engagements to promote health and wellness.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $63000 with final offer based on experience and qualifications.

2 years of clinical experience
Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registry (CDR)
Certified Dietitian by the State of Wisconsin or eligible to obtain by start date
Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams including medical and mental health professionals while also being able to work independently
2 years or more of clinically supervised experience working with patients with a variety of eating disorders including but not limited to restrictive eating bulimia binge eating disorder
2 years or more experience working with a young adult/college population
Bachelors degree in Science or related field required
Masters degree in Science or related field preferred
