Job Description:
Synechron Technologies is seeking a talented and experienced Scala Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional programming with Scala and experience working with frameworks such as Play Framework or Akka. You should be adept at designing building and maintaining scalable Scala-based applications while working within an Agile/DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust Scala applications using best practices in functional programming.
- Work with frameworks like Play Framework or Akka to build scalable and responsive systems.
- Good to have skills as HTTP4S Neo4J Cats Effect to enhance application functionality.
- Design analyze and optimize Scala-based systems to improve usability and performance.
- Understand and utilize data organization in HBase Hive and Oracle databases.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle including planning coding testing and deployment.
- Collaborate within an Agile/DevOps environment to ensure continuous delivery and integration.
- Maintain code quality through regular code reviews testing and documentation.
- Utilize CI/CD tools such as Git Bitbucket TeamCity Artifactory and Jira to streamline development workflows.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Scala development.
- Strong expertise in functional programming paradigms.
- Experience with Play Framework or Akka.
- Good to have familiarity with HTTP4S Neo4J and Cats Effect.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies.
- Experience designing creating and maintaining Scala applications across multiple systems.
- Basic knowledge of data organizations in HBase Hive and Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and toolchains including Git Bitbucket TeamCity Artifactory and Jira.
- Proven ability to work effectively in an Agile/DevOps setting.
