We are looking for a Staff Controls Engineer to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to Principal Engineer Controls and based in San Jose CA. This is a fully on-site in office role.
Develop and implement machine learning models to monitor and evaluate fuel cell system performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy machine learning solutions to drive system control changes for optimum performance and reliability
- Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights
- Participating in control code development automation and firmware release
Requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering computer engineering embedded systems control systems or a related field
- Bachelors 6 years or masters degree with 4 years of experience in electrical engineering computer engineering embedded systems control systems
- Strong programming skills in Python MATLAB or other programming languages
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or Keras
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Pandas NumPy and Matplotlib
- Experience in developing model predictive control porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing code
- Experience with version control software Github/Gitlab preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
