Where: Auburn Washington
Type: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $38.00 - $42.00/hour Dependent on Experience
Work Schedule: Full-time Day Shift

Tessera Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a skilledCNC Programmerto join our manufacturing team in Auburn WA. The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing and managing CNC programs using Mastercam for 3- 4- and 5-axis machining centers. This role supports the production of precision aerospace components by creating efficient toolpaths selecting appropriate tooling and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The programmer also collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Create CAD/CAM databases models and CNC programs for complex aerospace parts
- Select appropriate tooling and tool paths for efficient machining
- Analyze and verify dimensional results during prove-outs; correct discrepancies
- Support production teams with complex setups and machining operations
- Participate in new product development and provide input on manufacturability
- Maintain documentation for tooling certifications and inspection processes
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and support audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and reduce costs
- Stay current with new technologies and integrate them into programming processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Technical or associates degree in machining manufacturing technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience programming CNC machines using Mastercam with a focus on 3- 4- and 5-axis machining.
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM systems machining processes and tooling selection.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards and aerospace manufacturing practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and GD&T.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
