As a Nursing Practice and Professional Development Specialist (NPPDS) you would be responsible for planning organizing implementing and evaluating educational programs and activities in support of ourNurse Residency Program accredited with distinction through ANCC. This NPPDS will support the transition to practice of our new graduate nurses with opportunities to support various nursing departments in additional educational initiatives. You will play a vital role in leading change in pursuit of improved nursing practice and professional development. Your office will be located at The Johns Hopkins Hospital with teaching at JHH Bayview Medical Center and Keswick campuses.

Who Should Apply:
- Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maryland
- Active BLS CPR certification
- 5 years of nursing experience. Minimum of three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- The ideal candidate will have an experience in an academic hospital and experience in precepting mentorship and nursing education.
Salary Range: Minimum 46.57/hour - Maximum 72.18/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
