Are you an experienced Accounting Specialist with a passion for helping others achieve financial success If so Hopewell Federal Credit Union is looking for a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team in Heath OH.

YOUR SCHEDULE
- 8 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday
- 9 AM - 12 PM Saturdays
YOUR DAY AS OUR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
As an Accounting Specialist you start your day ensuring all electronic deposits payments and transfers are accurately posted to members accounts in a timely manner. Throughout the day you lead by example maintain regular contact with other departments set up wire transfers post and reconcile general ledgers ACH Processing and more all while delivering friendly accurate and efficient service to our members. Whether youre answering account questions resolving discrepancies or jumping in to help a teammate your focus is always on creating a seamless and positive member experience.
Using your accounting skills you oversee all correspondent bank accounts. You also oversee end of day transfers and more. From handling accounting duties to assisting the members you play a key role in maintaining both operational excellence and the warm community-first culture that defines Hopewell Federal Credit Union.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Banking industry experience is preferable
- Associates degree or higher in a relatable field is preferred
