The Key Holder / Retail Supervisor supports daily retail operations by overseeing customer interactions managing in-store workflow and ensuring the sales floor is organized efficient and aligned with KEHs service standards. This role includes opening and closing responsibilities supervising team members during shifts and assisting with inventory handling and customer transactions including buying and selling used photographic equipment. As a frontline leader the Retail Supervisor plays a key role in delivering the KEH experience helping maintain our reputation for knowledgeable service product integrity and operational excellence. Location - On-site Retail Store (Atlanta Beltline)
What You Will Do: Store Operations & Leadership - Open and close the store in accordance with company procedures including securing the store and reconciling the register.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) when store leadership is not present.
- Support daily store operations including register functions cash handling inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Ensure the store is clean organized and merchandised according to KEH brand standards.
Customer Service & Sales - Deliver exceptional customer experience through product knowledge friendly engagement and expert recommendations.
- Assist with buy/sell/trade transactions including evaluating used gear based on condition and market value.
- Educate customers on KEHs unique value proposition and drive customer loyalty.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally escalating to management as needed.
Team Support & Communication - Lead by example to model professionalism integrity and KEHs core values.
- Support new associate training and help onboard team members as needed.
- Communicate relevant updates priorities and daily goals to the team.
Security & Compliance - Maintain awareness of store security protocols and ensure compliance with loss prevention standards.
- Monitor inventory control processes and report discrepancies or issues.
Skills Needed to be Successful: - 2-3 years of retail experience preferably in consumer electronics or specialty retail.
- Prior key holder or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Passion for photography or familiarity with camera gear is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Independently works with initiative and ability to lead by example.
- Ability to led and motivate a team.
- Must be dependable punctual and trustworthy with handling keys and sensitive tasks.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must be able to work days and weekends.
Language Skills: Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public. Mathematical Skills: - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to build merchant category budget.
- Basic knowledge of applied statistics core machine learning algorithms and basic AI principles
