The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking Senior Contract Management Specialists to join the team in Oklahoma City OK.
The Senior Contract Management Specialists will serve in support of either Boeing Executive Transport and Surveillance (ET&S) Programs or Boeing Bombers Programs with a wide variety of size and scope. The selected candidate(s) will support and lead acquire and execution activities for a complex statement of work in support of United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and/or Direct Commercial sales (DCS) contracting activities. This position offers a great opportunity for Sr. Leadership and Executive exposure. This includes both Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) contracting foreign DCS and non-sales agreements.
Position Responsibilities:
Exercises appropriate signature authority leads and participates in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products services technologies financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies
Leads the presentation and development of complex business solutions to preserve and expand the business
Represents the company in external negotiations to a broad set of customers
Prepares negotiates executes interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company
Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines
Summarizes complex contractual issues and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher
Willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally
5 years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance Contracts Estimating Procurement Financial Analysis Business Operations Supplier Management Marketing & Sales)
5 years of experience building developing and maintaining customer relationships
5 years of experience drafting negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts
10 years of experience with proposal management strategies development and/or contract negotiations
5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
5 years of experience using analytical collaboration communication and organizational skills
Experience working with FAR DFARs USG & FMS contracts
