Risk & Compliance Senior Associate Crop

The Opportunity:

The purpose of this role is to support the Risk Manager Crop in embedding good risk and compliance management at NAU Country. This is done by establishing strong partnerships with the business units and our Line 2 risk partners at QBE.

Location: Ramsey MN Council Bluffs IA Topeka KS Fargo ND or Greensboro NC

Work Arrangement: This role will require 12 days/month in one of our offices listed above. The hours for this role are 7:30am-4:15pm CST Monday through Thursday and 7:30am-12pm CST on Fridays

The starting salary range for this role is between $64000-$96000 depending on location and experience

Your New Role:

  • Ensure all risk and compliance related incidents and issues are escalated investigated and resolved.
  • Maintain an effective risk and compliance framework and policies.
  • Document all processes in a standard format and ensure accessibility.
  • Keep training and knowledge up to date including regulatory updates.
  • Assist in resolving issues from auditors and local regulators.
  • Undertake special investigations and projects when required.
  • Establish and maintain efficient relationships between Risk & Compliance teams and Business Units.
  • Analyze incidents issues and Key Risk Indicator trends.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to deliver excellent customer service.

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

  • Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

  • Experience with crop insurance including underwriting adjusting and/or compliance.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

  • Secondary school certification.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the roles complexity its location and the candidates professional background including their education and experience.
