Job Description
Classification:Full-time Exempt Employment
Summary of Position:
The Pozez Jewish Community Center seeks a dynamic flexible teacher to join our educational
team in Fairfax for our year-round full-day early childhood center for infants through Pre-K at
the Pozez JCCs Early Childhood Learning Center. The ECLC is inspired by the Reggio Emilia
philosophy and our staff co-teach in a professional collaborative Jewish environment.
Qualifications:
All applicants must have experience working with young children
Must be organized and have excellent writing skills
Must have experience working with young children in an early childhood setting
Essential Position Duties:
Implement the Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy
Maintain a cheerful nurturing healthy safe and clean environment
Communicate regularly with families and Administrative staff
Monitor growth and development of each child
Protect the rights and privacy of children and families by maintaining strict
confidentiality
Work towards increasing knowledge and abilities in the field of early childhood
education
Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:45am-5:15pm (subject to change depending on assigned shift)
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience.
