U.S. Waterproofing is seeking an experienced and detail-orientedSenior Accountantto join our dynamic finance team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting maintaining compliance with financial regulations and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of accounting best practices. Additionally this role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Finance theSenior Accountantwill:
Prepare analyze and ensure the accuracy offinancial statements including monthly and annual reports.
Maintain financial records in compliance withGAAPand internal policies.
Conductmonthly quarterly and annual reconciliationsto ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with budgeting forecasting and financial planning.
Prepare for andfacilitate financial auditsworking closely with external auditors.
Monitor and interpretcash flows providing strategic financial insights.
Assess financial risks and identify opportunities forcost savings and process improvements.
Lead and supportERP system transitionsand train team members on financial systems.
Collaborate with theSales and Operations Departmentsto ensure financial alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree inAccounting or Finance.
Minimum of5 yearsof accounting experience.
Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel.
Strong background ininsuranceand financial reporting.
Proven ability to identify and implementprocess improvements and digitization.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or other professional certification (highly desirable).
Experience withERP system conversions and implementation.
Familiarity withprivate equity and acquisition integration.
Strongattention to detailandanalytical skills.
Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
