COMPENSATION: $250 - $500 Per Class
LOCATION: Newark DE
PRIMARY FUNCTION (S):
- This instructor may also be asked to participate in DDDS meetings contribute to training and instruction materials development or assist with technical assistance questions from administrator.
- This instructor may be called upon to provide training or support for additional courses such as the Dysphagia/ Aspiration course and be asked to perform other duties as assigned. The total hours per month may vary. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated effective training experience.
- Ability to assess and provide feedback to class participants.
- Ability to travel to training sites that might not be accessible by public transportation throughout the state of Delaware.
- Ability to travel overnight and spend if needed - multiple days at various locations in the state.
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications ability to gather data to compile information prepare reports records maintenance and compile information in order to maintain updated training materials.
- Skill in the use of various computer programs including (but not limited to): Word Excel PowerPoint and email systems.
- Skill in organizing resources establishing priorities and meeting assigned deadlines.
- Knowledge of computerized information systems ability to handle track and monitor data.
- Familiarity with internet communications applications such as Skype Zoom GoToMeeting Outlook etc.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to be a professional representative of Chimes Delaware.
SECONDARY FUNCTION(S):
- Works cooperatively and effectively with Agency volunteers maximizing the volunteers experience while meeting the needs of individuals served and the programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with at least five (5) years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Must be a LLAM approved instructor.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have a reliable vehicle valid Delaware drivers license and up-to-date registration and insurance. Must have an acceptable driving record as determined by criteria established by the Agencys insurance carrier and by Agency policy.
