About the Role:

Were looking for a Business Director to join one of the Client Experience teams at Hearts leading a mix of accounts and an eager team encouraging team growth and retention.

In this role you will be responsible for shaping and communicating client experience in and outside the agency. You will have an ambassadorial role in the agency & client community and will be responsible for building relationships with our clients at the highest level.

These clients include Tropicana and Hargreaves Lansdown primarily but there is also the opportunity to work on others within the wider two clients complement each other in terms of maturity opportunity and team structure:

  • Tropicana is a category leader - as the OG of OJ they are looking to create a distinctive brand in the drinks market through their media behaviour. We also look after Naked smoothies who are looking to make their mark with Gen Z through social and OOH activations.
  • Hargreaves Lansdown is a fintech company helping to democratise the world of investing. They have a new senior client team and are in the process of acquiring new owners which means theyre at an exciting inflection point and looking to us to create new and exciting work.

Other clients within our patch include Freeview / Freely Opella (pharmaceuticals) Co Op Bank Not On The High Street and Waterwipes.

Having a range of brands within our team provides a real opportunity to build skills and experience across different categories as well as more agility and the chance to apply thinking from different areas - an antidote to working on one big client all day every day.

Were looking for someone who has considerable experience working as a skilled client operator delivering a brilliant day-to-day client experience. You will also have demonstrable experience delivering best-in-class media planning creative ideas and effective campaigns. You will have strong knowledge of client business challenges and will be confident in challenging conventions as well as being a skilled project manager with the ability to orchestrate responses alongside wider agency teams. You will also have experience managing and developing a team.

Our standard working hours are 9:30 17:30 but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day whether thats in the office or working remotely. For example you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
