Job Description
As an Equipment Operator (internally known as a Viking) you will be responsible for operating a variety of small and large equipment to ensure production runs efficiently and our products meet high-quality standards. This role is dynamic requiring you to adapt to different tasks and equipment based on daily needs including handsaws nail guns automated saw machines and material handling equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts. Pay Rate:
Base Hourly Rate: Starting at $18.23 per hour.
Incentive Opportunities: This position offers a significant incentive program based on hourly productivity (units completed per hour).
Earn additional pay ranging from $3.09 to over $41.74 per hour on top of your base rate depending on your output.
Total potential hourly earnings can range from $18.23 up to $59.97 per hour or more based on performance.

What Youll Be Doing:
As an Equipment Operator your primary responsibilities will include:
Operating and maintaining multiple types of small and large equipment which may include handsaws nail guns automated saw machines pallet jacks and forklifts.
Performing inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Feeding materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
Controlling and adjusting equipment settings as needed.
Delivering on or exceeding daily production requirements.
Performing evaluations with precision to provide consistent quality of all finished products.
Maintaining a clean workspace reducing accidents and ensuring compliance.
Escalating technical and process issues to leadership.
Fostering exceptional and collaborative partnerships with facility staff.
Performing other duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
Previous experience operating industrial equipment such as saws nail guns or forklifts is required.
Strong commitment to safety procedures and attention to detail.
Ability to learn and operate a variety of equipment effectively.
Proven ability to meet or exceed daily production goals.
Experience with quality evaluation and precision work.
Effective communication skills to escalate issues and work with a team.
Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment upkeep and maintenance.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
A positive collaborative attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand walk bend stoop and lift for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and moving materials and parts regularly throughout the shift.
Requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating tools and machinery.
Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions machinery sounds and safety alarms in a noisy environment.
Excellent vision (including close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus) for operating machinery and inspecting product quality.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee will primarily work in a production or warehouse environment. This may include exposure to dust fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold) and moderate to high noise levels. Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
