Job Description

Compensation: Min $118200 to Max $147200 (SF Bay area candidates only)

The exact compensation may vary based upon skills & experience


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing international finance team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the financial operations and reporting of our global entities. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical accounting knowledge cross-border operational experience and a collaborative mindset enabling effective teamwork with international teams.


This is a full-time exempt position which reports directly to the Sr. Director Corporate Controller and is based in Milpitas CA.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee international month-end close activities for global entities ensuring timely and accurate U.S. GAAP-compliant financial submissions for consolidation
  • Lead local-to-GAAP reconciliations and coordinate with external service providers to maintain statutory compliance and audit readiness
  • Manage global intercompany transactions ensure proper eliminations and oversee the CTA account in accordance with GAAP and currency translation requirements
  • Standardize document and scale closing reporting and intercompany processes to support expanding global operations
  • Prepare and review audit deliverables to support both consolidated and local statutory audits
  • Monitor developments in international accounting tax and regulatory standards and assess their impact on compliance and reporting
  • Implement HQ financial policies and procedures consistently across all international offices ensuring global uniformity
  • Provide technical accounting guidance related to international transactions system implementations and legal entity restructuring
  • Support global expansion initiatives including new entity setup operational onboarding and alignment with corporate policies

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

  • Efficient and accurate close cycles across global entities that align with HQ consolidation timelines
  • Scalable standardized financial systems and processes that support long-term growth
  • Clear financial controls and guidance that empower international teams and ensure global compliance

KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field; CPA or international equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in international operations or multi-entity consolidation
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and exposure to local statutory accounting standards (e.g. IFRS local GAAPs).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite; advanced Excel skills required
  • Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills with the ability to collaborate across time zones and functions
