About the Position:
Pelham Memorial School is seeking a skilled and experienced middle school baseball coach to lead our student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for teaching baseball fundamentals developing athletes skills and fostering a positive and competitive team environment.
- Teach baseball fundamentals including pitching catching fielding and hitting.
- Develop and implement training plans that cater to the abilities and needs of middle school athletes.
- Coach and mentor athletes to improve their baseball skills and performance.
- Organize and supervise practices and games.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all baseball players.
- Communicate effectively with athletes parents and school administration.
Qualifications:
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Experience coaching baseball or related sports is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for baseball and a commitment to developing young athletes.
- Knowledge of baseball rules and regulations.
Availability:
- Monday through Friday after school hours. No weekend commitments.
- Season runs from March 30th to the beginning of June.
