Employment Type: Full-Time 40hours a week. Mon Fri
Arvato is a global 3PL and supply chain solutions provider partnering with some of the worlds most respected brands to deliver exceptional logistics services. We are currently seeking a hands-on and proactive Facilities Supervisor to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring our facilities operate smoothly safely and in compliance with all regulations to support world-class service for our clients.
Your Tasks:
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of the warehouse office space and surrounding facilities.
- Manage contractors and vendors for cleaning HVAC electrical plumbing security and other services.
- Ensure all equipment and infrastructure (racking dock doors conveyors etc.) are fully operational.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards maintenance needs and compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Support warehouse operations by minimizing downtime due to facility-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules repairs and facility-related documentation.
- Manage facilities-related budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of services and supplies.
- Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
- Respond to facility emergencies promptly and coordinate resolutions.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in a facilities or maintenance supervisory role preferably in a warehouse logistics or 3PL environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical mechanical and HVAC.
- Familiarity with OSHA and other workplace safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage external vendors and contractors.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Computer literacy (e.g. CMMS systems Microsoft Office Suite).
