Were partnering with a well-established mining services business in the CBD thats seeking a highly capable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their small close-knit finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and is confident managing cash transactions across multiple entities.
Role Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance role
- Strong working knowledge of mining or mining services industries
- Must be available to work Wednesdays (non-negotiable)
- Proficiency in reconciliations billing and managing intercompany transactions
- Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and reporting
- Handle client account queries adjustments and refunds
- Process payments on behalf of clients
- Oversee accounts payable and record company expenditure
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit cards
- Prepare general ledger journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Perform intercompany recharges and loan reconciliations
- Generate and finalise up to 250 monthly invoices
- Provide payroll support when needed
- Assist with ad hoc admin analysis and reporting as required
