Job Description:
L3Harris is hiring for a Software Engineer in the Test Engineering organization to develop automated tests for product testing.
Essential Functions:
Develop automated test
Familiar with NI TestStand and LabVIEW programming language
Work closely with hardware and system engineers in Test Engineering team
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
An ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited Bachelors with a year of experience in an Engineering discipline (preferably Software Engineering) experience
Understanding of engineering process and design concepts along with an understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop test and deploy test systems
Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)
Effective problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
Demonstrate experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects
Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand development
Experience with source code control
Understanding of software practices and L3Harris programs and products
Have analytical project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Excellent computer skills with a strong proficiency in Windows interface Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and Microsoft Project
