Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification: Must have one of the following qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant through the appropriate board (e.g. American Association of Medical Assistants).
- Registered through the appropriate board (e.g. The American Registry of Medical Assistants).
- Experience:1 years of experience desired.
- Technical Skills:
- EPIC EMR proficiency
- Clinical workflow coordination
- Soft Skills:
- Patient/family communication
- Interdisciplinary collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a physicians office setting assisting providers and staff in coordinating patient care.
- Serve as a primary liaison between patients families staff and providers.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient record management
