JobSquad is seeking energetic & reliable Traffic Regulators for Road Commission of Kalamazoo County! This seasonal full-time position is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors & being involved in various public service duties.
Pay Rate
$18.00/hr for an employees first season with RCKC
Increases are applied for returning employees
Work the FULL 2023 season to earn a $675 bonus!
Typically May-Aug & bonus is prorated for those who join late
Schedule
Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm
Overtime scheduled when needed
Job Duties
Work cooperatively with all Superintendents
Traffic regulating; Direct traffic use of radios hand signals ect.
Road maintenance; Pothole repairs guard rails tree & brush control ect.
Assist in the maintenance of RCKC grounds & buildings
Assist in emergency situations
May be required to attend meetings & trainings
Maintain a positive attitude & positive public relations
Requirements
Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
Construction experience (preferred)
Valid non-restricted drivers license
No more than 3 points on MVR
High school diploma or equivalent
