Job Description

Are you passionate about shaping the future of the built environment We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiasticHE Construction Lecturerto join our Higher Education team at University Campus Doncaster and University Campus North Lincolnshire.

In this role you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of construction-related programmes including Construction Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying and Architectural and Building Services at Levels 4 and 5. You will also provide academic support to students contribute to curriculum development and engage with quality assurance processes.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree or Level 6 qualification in Construction Building Services or the Built Environment
  • Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Strong subject knowledge and industry experience particularly in CAD/BIM
  • Experience of or ability to support undergraduate students
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with a flexible approach to working hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching sessions across HE construction programmes
  • Participate in curriculum planning development and quality assurance activities
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students including acting as an Academic Tutor
  • Contribute to promotional events and student recruitment activities
  • Engage in scholarly activity and maintain strong links with industry and external stakeholders
